Last updated: 8 July 2026

1. About this policy

Providence Equity Holdings Pty Ltd (ACN 612 005 928, AFSL 487419) is referred to in this policy as "Providence Equity Holdings", "we", "our" or "us". We are committed to protecting the privacy of personal information we collect. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at provequityholdings.com.au or engage our services. This policy is governed by the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following types of personal information:

Information you provide directly: Full name, company or entity name, email address, and phone number. This also includes any other information you choose to provide through our website forms, email correspondence, or telephone conversations.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, and time spent on our website. We also collect referring website addresses and general location data (city/region level). Much of this is collected through cookies and Google Analytics (see section 9). We use this information to improve our website and understand how visitors use it.

3. How we use your information

We use the personal information we collect to communicate with you about our services and platform, and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. We also use it to improve our website and services, and to respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.

4. How we share your information

We may share your personal information with our professional advisors, including lawyers, accountants, and auditors. We may also share it with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business. These include email delivery services, website hosting, website analytics, and IT support. We may also share it with government or regulatory bodies where required by law.

We will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Email communications

When you submit your details through our website, we use Resend (a third-party email delivery service) to send confirmation and notification emails. Resend processes your email address solely for the purpose of delivering these transactional emails. We do not subscribe you to any marketing email lists without your explicit consent.

6. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, and disclosure. Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption to secure data transmitted between your browser and our servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, or as required by law. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.

8. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you. You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, and request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal obligations). You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles.

9. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to help us understand how visitors use our website. This includes which pages are viewed, time spent on the site, referring sources, and device and browser type. It also includes general location (city/region level, derived from a truncated IP address). This information is aggregated and used to improve our website and services.

Google processes this information on our behalf and may store it on servers outside Australia. For details of how Google handles data, see Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. You can also opt out by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not affect your ability to use this website.

We also operate a first-party analytics log on our own infrastructure, separate from Google Analytics. When you visit our website we record the page viewed, the referring website, and approximate location (city and country). We also record the organisation associated with your internet connection. For this first-party log, the organisation is determined from your IP address using a database held locally on our own systems. The IP address is not shared with any third party by this log. It is stored only in a hashed (non-reversible) form, never in full. This log does not set cookies and does not identify you as an individual. The data it holds is retained in line with section 7.

We use Leadfeeder, a service provided by Dealfront Group Oy, to identify the business organisations that visit our website. Leadfeeder uses cookies and your IP address to determine the company associated with your visit and the pages viewed. For this purpose your IP address is shared with and processed by Leadfeeder/Dealfront, which may store data on servers outside Australia. Leadfeeder is designed to identify organisations rather than individuals. For details of how Leadfeeder/Dealfront handles data, see their privacy policy at leadfeeder.com/privacy. You can opt out by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not affect your ability to use this website.

Basic server logs are also maintained by our hosting provider for security and performance purposes.

10. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
